Support Office - Duders Regional Park

On Friday 8 of June a team from the Support Office went out to Duders Regional Park to lay out trees for planting.
Duders Park is a 62 hectare reserve on the East Coast of Auckland that is open to public for walking and running. It has a huge number of native trees and they have a working farm with sheep and cattle. It overlooks the Hauraki Gulf and is a great place for a family outing or an outing for people of all ages. The views from the top of the hill are spectacular.
Some of our Management team were there earlier in the year digging holes and putting in fence posts.
We and some children from Maraetai school transported and laid out what seemed like thousands of trees for planting the next day. In fact we have been told by the Ranger that there ware 180 people planting our trees, the biggest number they’ve ever had.
We were lucky enough to have a lovely sunny day to do it on and all enjoyed the day.A photo of the team : Megan Vettoretti, Brett Evans, Catherine Tamati, Sam Clark and Wendy Mills
